Hello

You don’t have to figure this out alone — and honestly, the fact that you’re here, reading a therapist’s website instead of just pushing through, says a lot about you.

I’ll meet you wherever you are. No judgment, no agenda, just two people working through the complicated, messy, sometimes surprising terrain of being human together.

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker offering therapy in North Austin. Born and raised in Central Texas — which means I’ve had a lifelong, complicated relationship with the heat, but an unconditional love for the hill country. I’ve lived in London, tried California, and somehow always ended up back here. Turns out no amount of good weather or double-decker buses could compete with a Texas sunset and a stranger who actually means it when they ask how you’re doing.

Austin is home.

My Style

Whether this is your first time in therapy or you’ve been here before, walking through the door — or opening this tab — takes something real. That moment of deciding you’re worth showing up for? That’s not small. I don’t take it lightly, and I won’t take you for granted.

I’ll bring my whole self to this work. Genuine curiosity, an open heart, and the patience to let trust build at whatever pace feels right for you. There’s no rushing here. The relationship we build together is the foundation everything else grows from — and I believe that foundation is worth taking care of.

I also want you to know that I’ve sat in the client’s chair too. I know what it feels like to let someone really see you — the relief of it, and the vulnerability of it. That experience lives in how I show up for you. I’m not just here professionally. I’m here because I’ve felt firsthand what it means to be truly held in that space, and I want that for you.

You are not alone in this. Not even a little.

My Experience

I’ve been doing this work since 2002 — which means I’ve shown up for a lot of people in a lot of different seasons of life. Schools, hospitals, residential programs, drug treatment centers, community mental health, and private practice. Children, teenagers, families, adults, new moms — if life has thrown it at someone, I’ve probably had the honor of sitting with them through it. All of that experience shapes how I work with you, and I bring it all to the table. But I also want to be clear: you are the expert on your own life. I’m just here to help you remember that.

When I’m not in the office, you’ll likely find me outside — ideally submerged in water, because a Texas summer demands it. I share my home with two cats, two rescue dogs, and one very opinionated owl who has taken up residence in the backyard and did not ask permission. I’m a devoted animal lover, which means my house is full and my heart is fuller.

I also have a deep love for comedy. Laughter has gotten me through more than I can count, and I believe it belongs in the therapy room too — not to avoid the hard stuff, but to remind us that lightness exists even in the heaviest moments.

At the end of the day, I’m a mother, wife, daughter, sister, auntie, and a fellow human doing my best to make sense of this strange thing called being human.
