Hello
You are not alone in this process. I will meet you with compassion, understanding, and hope, holding a space free of judgment where we can explore and navigate your experiences together. I’m so glad you found my page and are taking this first step to find someone to meet with. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Work providing therapy in North Austin. I was born and raised in Central Texas. I left several times to live elsewhere, London and California to name a few, but I always returned home. No place can quite live up to the beauty of the hill country, the kindness of strangers, and how Austin will always feel like home.
My Style
Whether this is your first time in therapy or simply your first time meeting with me, I understand how vulnerable and courageous it can feel to step into this space. Together, we will build on that courage and strength, creating a foundation for meaningful work.
I approach each session with gentle curiosity, compassion, and an open heart. I recognize that building a safe and trusting relationship takes time, and I am committed to creating a space where you feel seen, valued, and supported. It is within this collaborative, co-created space that growth and change can unfold.
Having experienced healing through my own therapy, I deeply understand the power of being truly seen and supported. You are not alone in this process. I will meet you with compassion, understanding, and hope, holding a space free of judgment where we can explore and navigate your experiences together.
My Experience
Since 2002, I have worked with children, adolescents, families, adults, and mothers in a variety of settings, including schools, residential programs, drug treatment centers, community-based mental health, and hospitals, all while building my private practice. My diverse training and experience allow me to offer research-based services tailored specifically to who you are as a person. I firmly believe that you are the expert on your own life and experiences.
When I’m not in the office, I find joy in spending as much time as possible outdoors. In the summer, you’ll often find me submerged in the nearest body of water. I’m a devoted animal lover with two cats, two rescue dogs, and even the occasional owl that makes its home in the backyard owl house. I have a deep appreciation for comedy and its ability to bring lightness and relief during life’s challenging moments. Most importantly, I cherish my roles as a wife, mother, daughter, and sister.
